Refund policy
At Highbury Furnishings, we want you to love your purchase. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our return and refund policy so you know exactly what to expect from the moment your order arrives.
Inspecting Your Order Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery — do not wait.
We strongly advise against holding your item while awaiting the completion of a home renovation or other project. Damage and defect claims must be submitted within 2 days of delivery, regardless of whether you have had a chance to use or assemble the item.
To report a problem, email our Customer Service team at support@highburyfurnishings.com with photos of the damage or defect. If we are not notified within 2 days of delivery, any repair or replacement costs will become your responsibility.
Receiving Your Order
If the carrier contacts you to schedule delivery, please arrange it within 48 business hours. Carriers are unable to store your order on your behalf, and any storage fees incurred beyond that window will be your responsibility.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or with missing parts, contact us within 2 days of delivery and we will work quickly to make it right. Here is what you can expect:

We reserve the right to repair or replace any damaged order. Many damages can be repaired to showroom quality at no cost to you.

If you choose not to accept a repair or replacement, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery under our standard return policy. Please note that round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund in this case.

We are not responsible for delays to home improvement projects caused by shipping timelines. We recommend scheduling contractors or professionals only after your order has been received and inspected.

Damage to your home caused by a delivery carrier is not our responsibility. In such cases, you will need to file a claim directly with the freight company.
Standard Returns (30-Day Window)
If your item simply isn't the right fit — whether it doesn't match your décor, colors, or expectations — you may return it within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

The item must be in new, unused, and unassembled condition, with no damage of any kind.

The item must be in its original packaging, securely wrapped and ready for return shipment.

All returns must be pre-approved. Email us at support@highburyfurnishings.com before sending anything back — returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund, including on orders that originally qualified for free shipping. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error on our part.
Once we receive your item at our warehouse and confirm it is in acceptable condition, your refund will be processed promptly.
Order Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled before they have shipped. To request a cancellation, email us at support@highburyfurnishings.com as soon as possible. Your cancellation is not confirmed until you receive a written acknowledgment from us.
If your order has already shipped, it can no longer be canceled. Refusing delivery of a shipped order will be treated as a return under our standard return policy, and round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Product Warranty
All Highbury Furnishings products come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please email us at support@highburyfurnishings.com with details and photos.
Product Descriptions & Color Variations
We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions and pricing are accurate. However, in the event of a typographical or pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse affected orders.
Because our furniture is crafted from natural materials, there may be slight variations in color, grain, or finish between product photos and the actual item you receive. These natural variations are a characteristic of quality materials and are not grounds for a return or cancellation.
